Vartija – Privacy Policy

This privacy notice describes how our Discord bot, Vartija (a product of ModiPaja, “ModiPaja,” “we,” “us,” or “our“), processes data when you use its verification page. Vartija is built to protect Discord servers from automated spam.
We process only the minimum data required to protect communities and lift restrictions. We do not save your personal information persistently and do not build user databases. We are committed to securing online communities while respecting your privacy to the absolute maximum.
Note: Modipaja will never ask for your password, login credentials, or ask you to run files/programs or code snippets on your computer.
This privacy notice applies when you:
- Interact with our Discord moderation bot (“Vartija“)
- Verify that you are human on our verification webpage at vartija.modipaja.com
Data collection
- The data we may collect includes:
- Your Discord ID
- Your Discord username
- The Discord server (guild) IDs where you have active restrictions
- Your IP address (processed transiently during verification)
2. If you use the verification page
A temporary verification link is generated to connect your Discord request to the web page. This link and session data are automatically deleted after the verification check.
Use of Data
We use the information we collect to manage user verification and to automatically lift restrictions (such as timeouts or bans) from mutual Discord servers.
Data Sharing
We do not share your personal information with third parties, except when necessary to complete the human verification check (using Cloudflare Turnstile).
Moderation logs
Once you verify that you are human, Vartija sends an automated message to the moderation logs of that Discord server to notify server staff that your restriction has been lifted.
Cookies
We do not use persistent cookies on our verification website.
Data Retention
Your Discord ID is stored in the database only as long as your restriction is active. As soon as you successfully verify that you are human, your Discord ID and all associated restriction details are permanently deleted from our database.
All verification session data is temporary and is deleted automatically within 15 minutes of creation, or instantly once the verification is completed.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
